Cheltenham April Point-to-Point Sale Results

• Fascino Rustico topped the Cheltenham April National Hunt Sale at Brightwells last night when he was bought by Aiden Murphy for Grand National winning trainer Paul Nicholls and his owner John Hales, for £310,000. 

• The 4yo son of Milan, a runaway winner of a Carlisle bumper winner, is out of the dual-winning hurdler Rustic Charmer and comes from the same family as Bouggler, winner of the Grade 2 Mersey Novices Hurdle at Aintree.

• Jonjo O'Neill bought Tullamore point-to-point winner Mr Watson from for Myles Sunderland for £215,000.

• Tom Malone and Michael Scudamore paid £200,000 for Lismore point-to-point winner Present Lodger from the Paul Cashman yard.

• Aiden Murphy paid £190,000 for Atriptomilan who won his point-to-point for Donnchadh Doyle

• Tralee point-to-point winner Minella Fifty trained by John Nallen went to Jonjo O'Neill for £150,000.

• Outlawed Tunes, a recent Tramore winner, was bought by Mags O'Toole for £140,000 from Brian Jordan.

• Presence Felt, winner at was Loughanmore point-to-point, was sold by Warren Ewing for £130,000 to Peter Bond.

• Highflyer Bloodstock bought recent last fence faller, Cocktails At Dawn, for £130,000 from Sam Curling's yard.

• O'Faolain's Boy who won a point-to-point at Inch was sold by Trevor Horgan to Gearoid Costello for £100,000.

• John 'Shark' Hanlon sold The Liquidator, who was second on his racecourse debut in the Fairyhouse sales bumper for £100,000 to owner Roger Brookhouse.

• Willie O'Neill sold his impressive first-time out Quakerstown winner Inch Rock to Aiden Kennedy for £90,000.

• Colin Bowe's Wilton Milan, who won a Monksgrange point-to-point, was bought by Highflyer and Paul Nicholls for £85,000.

• Another from Bowe’s yard, Clondaw Kaempfer, winner of the big Fairyhouse sales bumper, was sold to Donald McCain for £130,000 and he also bought Clondaw Draft who won his point-to-point for £85,000.
