Future Winners For Cheltenham 

  • The recent Fairyhouse bumper winner On Blueberry Hill for Timmy Hyde of Camas Park Stud was bought for £250,000 by Aiden Murphy for a syndicate and will be going to Paul Nicholls’ yard.
  • Midnight Thunder, a son of Beneficial, was bought by Tom Malone for £215,000 from Willie Slattery. He won his sole Irish point-to-point very well and will now by heading to trainer Colin Tizzard.
  • Owner Roger Brookhouse purchased the Aintree bumper-winning mare Legacy Gold for £210,000.
  • Tom Lacey sold point-to-point winner Vazaro Delafayette for £160,000 to trainer David Pipe. Lacey also sold Knight Of Noir for £60,000 who is a son of Winged Love and was bought by David Pipe again.
  • David Pipe also bought Sivron for £90,000 from John Nallen of ‘Minella’ name fame. This horse won his only point-to-point and has a good flat pedigree also.
  • Champagne Splash, a son of Stowaway was bought by Harold Kirk for Willie Mullins for £125,000. He was second on his only Irish point-to-point start to Midnight Thunder above & was sold by Thomond O’Mara’s Knockanglass Stables for Roisin Hickey.
  • Jonjo O’Neill paid £190,000 to Pat Doocey for Flemenson, another who won his sole Irish point at Inch.
