Mixed Thoroughbred Horse Sale at Goresbridge Review

Horse Sale Review from Goresbridge July Mixed Thoroughbred Sale with the main horses, buyers and sellers. 

 

  • The top lot was a yearling son of the new Coolmore stallion Gold Well, who was bought by Sean Doyle for €5,200 from Gortnaclea Stables. He is out of Goodbye Girl who was a 2yo winner and is also related the Gr.1 Derby winner and sire Kris Kin and Gr.1 winner and sire Common Grounds.
  • Donnacha Doyle bought a 4yo unbroken son of Beneficial from Knock Stables for €5,100. The gelding is a half-brother to a winner out of the unraced mare Clonea Lady and is from the family of Briar Hill and Boston Bob.
  • Slate Lodge Stables sold another unbroken 4yo gelding, this time it was by High Roller. He is a half-brother to Boynagh Joy who won at Listed level and he is out of the mare Bramble Cottage who is from the family of Sir Dante and Swingsville who were bought Listed winning hurdlers. He was bought by Michael Murphy for €5,000.
