The king is dead, long live the king. Altior's 19-race unbeaten sequence was finally brought to an end yesterday when Nicky Henderson's star chaser was beaten two and a half lengths by Cyrname in the Christy 1965 Chase on a slate-grey afternoon at the Berkshire racecourse.

Cheltenham Festival runner-up Discorama heads the weights for the Ladbrokes Troytown Chase at Navan. Part-owned by Andrew Gemmell, of Paisley Park fame, the Paul Nolan-trained Discorama came close to victory at Prestbury Park in March - going down by just half a length to Le Breuil in the National Hunt Chase.
