Gloomy times in an idyllic setting

Sun, 27/10/2019 - 18:30
On October 18, 1973, I had a bet on a horse at a racecourse for the first time. Well, strictly speaking, my dad backed the horse for me, as I was eight years old at the time. Sat, 26/10/2019 - 01:30
It's a strange state of affairs when a Group One race such as the Vertem Futurity Trophy Stakes (3.25 Doncaster), previously the Racing Post Trophy, can only attract a relatively small field of six runners.
